Setup for A Newbie

Postby mrgutzmer » Thu Feb 22, 2018 9:55 am

Hello,
I am just starting out fixing clocks. I have been "Brushing the dirt out and oiling clocks" for many years. I have finally run up against clocks that need more work than just a terse clean and oiling. So, I am looking at setting up a clock workbench. What initial tools and fixtures did you use/buy?
What source did you use for these tools and fixtures?
Please advise,
Thanks,
Martin Gutzmer

Hello Martin, what do you already have? Also depends on how far you desire to go in types of repairs. I think Bob has ideas throughout his repair videos.
Have a great day, William
