Resetting count wheel

Hi everyone
I hope you are well, just looking for a bit of advice please. rebuilding a what i think is a german clock and it has this count wheel on the back. Is there a way that this has to be set like the rack and snail system? i have included a pic for you.

Any help or advice greatly received .

Hello, davel831. Did you get this clock set back up? I've seen your posts on another site. I'm not sure why not so many are using this site anymore. I hope it picks up again soon.
There are several things that are required for the proper operation of these movements. While they may look different they are much the same.
Let me know if you need more help with it.
