Hi
Can anyone recommend a clock for a beginner which can be easily dismantled and assembled. There are plenty of Smith clocks on ebay. I am UK based.
Stuart.

Hi Stuart
If possible you might try locating a time only with open mainspring movement. I'm not too familiar with the variety of Smiths but you should be able to find an American time only up on ebay. Seth Thomas, Ingrahm, Gilbert, Ansonia and others are all options. Mainspring barrels can be intimidating at first. Just my humble opinio.
Hope this helps!
