Stamped number on clock plate

Hi all,, just wondering if someone can tell me about a number stamped
on the front plate of a Waterbury Kitchen clock movement...it is stamped with
a 3/4 in on the frame,,,,what is it and what does it mean?? Thanks...

Got me on that one. I always thought that number would be the pendulum length but thought it is normally preceded with a number such as 6 3/4 etc.
I would be interested to know what you find out about that.
