Getting the clock going

Postby MKelly » Mon May 06, 2019 12:44 pm

I have just restored an old Seth Thomas "New Orleans" City series #211. I have replaced one mainspring, verge, suspension spring and put in 5 bushings. I have tried every way I know to get the clock in beat but it keeps stopping. This clock has been a nightmare. Does anyone have a clue what I might be doing wrong?
Thanks so much.
Mike

Mike, sorry so late for a response....very busy here. Is this the clock you replaced or repaired the escape wheel? Pictures will really help others see what your talking about.
Have a great day, William
