Rodico

I recently purchased a small quantity of Rodico. Based on look and feel, it seems to be identical to a substance called mineral tack, which I use in another hobby, and which is much less costly. Might anyone know if this is the same?

Wow dlgraley now that's very interesting. If it actually has the same oil absorbing properties as Rodico at the prices that I just saw up on ebay then you just helped a lot of people!
I'm ordering some right now to see how it works.
